A Mouse is a Mouse?

That's what our 10 year old stray cat Ari thinks. He is solid black in color and a very sweet cat. Every now and then he brings a dead mouse he catches outside into the house through the cat door. What a great mouser!
The other day while I was reading my hometown newspaper on the Internet, Ari jumped up on the desk and ended up pushing around a few things near the computer. All of a sudden my computer mouse did not work anymore. He killed another mouse - this time my computer mouse. He chewed right through the wire.

I have to have a serious talk with Ari about this mouse business.

Philippine Violet

The movie title was GONE WITH THE WIND but I have to say, It CAME WITH THE WIND. A seed from a Philippine Violet blew over from my neighbor Molly`s yard a few years ago and now I have them all over the place and I love them. Most of them come up at the right place were I can just leave them. Some have grown to 4 feet tall. See for yourself.

A new Bromeliade - Ananas with beautiful coloring from the Mount Dora Plant Fair.

This Tillandsia (Air Plant) we purchased at the Mount Dora Plant Fair also, it looks like a winner. the next day Charlie came home with this succulent, don`t know the name of it yet he bought at the church bazaar.
